Alert & Conditional Order Notifications

The Alert and Conditional Order Notifications tell the software what to do when your alert or conditional order conditions are met. Setting up notifications is a step in creating alerts and creating conditional orders.

Default Notification

The default notification is a System Beep, but you can change this:

1. Click View Notifications in the Create Alert window or Conditional Orders tab.
2. Then click Edit Default.

 You can also access this setting by going to Settings in your main menu, then to the Trading tab and choosing the Notifications sub-tab.

3. Choose any or all of Load Trade tool with symbol, Beep, or add a Custom Sound. To add the custom sound, click Browse to find the sound file on your computer. Click on the file and click Open to load the sound.
4. Once you've checked all the notification selections you want to apply to all your alerts or conditional orders, click Save.

One-Time Notification

If you want to stray from your default notification settings occasionally, you can do that, too.

1. When you are setting up the alert, choose View Notifications.
2. Choose the One-Time Notification selection.
3. Choose the notifications you want to receive for this particular alert or conditional order.
4. Click OK
